Knight King Press was founded by husband-wife duo Mike Roy and Eileen Chevalier in 2020. Both were making work they wanted to share with the world and were soon joined in their writing pursuits by their daughters, Aubin Elise and Mariella Mae.

We do not use AI or sanction its use in any way in literature, media, or fine arts. We believe in listening to one another in authentic, honest ways. AI scrapes content, essentially stealing it, and repackaging it, thus ripping it from the actual human creator’s intent.

Each human should seek to contribute to humanity in the highest and best way possible. While this can involve AI in some fields, we believe that it does not belong in the arts. Every drawing, idea, and word we present is from our own minds and not an algorithm or LLM.

2026 will see the release of at least four new books:

M. M. Wonderland - Part 2 of Hearts & Stones (06.20.26) and the publication of Hearts & Stones (11.26.26) in a single edition with helpful appendices

Eileen Chevalier - a new botany book (06.26.26) will join The Typewriter Aalphabet collection of products

Aubin Elise - a novel/novella set in the world of Indigo that follows villains from The Second Nature of Indigo

Mike Roy - an updated version of Sin is Dead
