Eileen Chevalier’s Typewriter Aalphabet Botany Teacher Guide

36 Lesson Guides, 36 Blackline Masters, Curriculum overview, Glossary, and more.

For organized and integrous teachers, the Botany Teacher Guide is a collection of the 36 Lesson Guides and 36 illustrations that comprise the Botany Curriculum. Eileen provides instructions for implementing the curriculum as a whole, suggestions for strategic unit planning, and an explanation of how to guide the lessons and utilize the illustrations. The Lily Dissection Worksheet is also included.

Eileen Chevalier’s Typewriter Aalphabet Botany Curriculum is an exploration of botany - both the natural world and human attempts to categorize and conceptualize it. Just as life is a beautiful, complex playground in which to explore, the Botany Curriculum emphasizes the rich diversity of nature and our inadequate attempts to quantify it.

Learning happens when we physically and intellectually engage with material in challenging ways that facilitate connections and trust in our own ability to discover and make sense of the world around us. Most questions do not have simple answers. The questions presented in this guide are crafted to develop logical thinking skills and creative problem solving while effectively teaching botanical concepts.. The activities provide opportunities for tangible interactions with plants and categorization systems.

The Botany Curriculum is not just about plants. It is for the development of human potential. This Teacher Guide provides teachers with tools for developing themselves as well as their students. We are all on the learning journey together!
